Q:    Do I need to have kayaking experience to participate in the Sea Kayaking tour?

A:    We use Sit-Ontop kayaks ideal for novice paddlers and our warm climates and calm Waters. No previous experience is required and our qualified guides produce quality instruction and guidance.

Q:    I am an experienced birder with a significant number of species on my life list generated on many International trips. Are the pace, scope and purpose of your trips well suited to birding enthusiasts?

A:    Our birding program includes tours for experienced, dedicated birders and introductory level bird watching tours for both interested bird watchers and or school children.

Q:    We are interested in participating in the Zip Line Climbing and Rappel Tour and would like to know if children are allowed to participate in this activity.

A:    Children 8 years and older are welcome at the EduVentura Recreation Center, on our Sea Kayak Tour, our Sailing Adventures and the Easy Birding Tours. It is important to note that a responsible parent or guardian will have to take full responsibility for assuring that the child is under constant supervision.

Q:    In the “Classic Schooner Sailing Adventure” is everyone expected to participate actively in the sailing maneuvers or can we choose to simply enjoy the sailing experience?

A:    We encourage all participants to take an active part in learning how a classic wooden sail boat functions. However, our ample decks are equally inviting to enjoying our beautiful coastline in total leisure!

Q:    I would like to experience the Temazcal Pre Hispanic Spa / Sweatlodge and would like to know if there are any restrictions?

A:    The Temazcal experience is not recommended for pregnant women or people with high / low blood pressure, heart conditions or other chronic disorders or illnesses.

Q:    Are the tours suited for everyone?

A:    The tours are not suited for people with severe physical handicaps, heart diseases, pregnant women or for people under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Q:    We are interested in birding in the Mazatlan area but have a series of specific birds on we would like to add to our life list. Is it possible to  create a custom itinerary for our group?

A:    Absolutely! We are keenly aware of the varying degrees of expertise and interest in specific birds among dedicated birders. We are experienced developing custom itineraries and will enjoy working out a satisfying bird watching experience in Mexico.
