Since 1994 Sendero Mexico®, has been dedicated to offering quality ecological and adventure tours in southern Sinaloa, Mexico. Based in Mazatlan, a historical seaport and ideal adventure vacation destination on the Mexican Riviera, we offer half day and full day tours as well as birding tours of multi day circuits which acquaint our guests with the natural, historical, and cultural highlights found in this region. We offer kayak adventure tours to Deer Island and coastal lagoons, birding tours and birdwatching vacation packages, Sierra Madre Adventure Tours and human and organizational development camps and indoor dynamics. We are committed to safe adventure and learning experiences for anyone wanting to explore the natural and cultural environment of Mexico.

Our ecotours include the exclusive Deer Island Kayak Tour to the Deer Island Natural Protected Area , an island recently declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and part of the Gulf of California Island Reserve (Sea of Cortez) Initiative. Sendero Mexico® also operates Sierra Madre Adventure Tours to several exclusive locations including historical mining towns and the Tufted Jay Preserve where excellent birding or exciting adventure activities are guaranteed by our trained and motivated staff.
All our tours support local conservation initiatives and rural sustainable development and our affiliate, Sendero Mexico Consulting® is currently developing a model of sustainable development with the state and federal government of Mexico and NGO’s that will promote and guide the development of less favored communities with tourism potential. Sendero Mexico is a member of AMTAVE (Asociacion Mexicana de Turismo de Aventura y Ecoturismo).
