Sendero Mexico, leads birding tours throughout the year from our base in Mazatlan and is the organizer of the Mazatlan Bird Festival. With more than 400 possible species and 32 west Mexican endemics, the Mazatlan Durango region is considered among international birders and conservationists as an exceptional birding area. We create Birding Tours of multiple day, full day and half-day as well as custom itineraries for private groups year round covering the extensive wetlands, tropical semi-deciduous thorn forest and the breath taking pine oak forests and canyons of the Sierra Madre Occidental in North Western Mexico.
